Social Media Lesson with Gail Z. Martin

October 19, 2011 by Debra Kasowski Leave a Comment

Gail Z. Martin shares tips from her book, 30 Days to Social Media Success with Debra Kasowski.

Facebook is truly just another form of business networking. Don’t be afraid of it because it is on the internet. If you can go to a networking luncheon or an after hours event and talk to people and get them interested in what you do and the problems you solve. You can do the same thing on Facebook.

Be of service. It is not just about going out and selling. It is about seeing how you can make a personal connection and build a relationship and find out how you can solve their problem.

Do that online and Gail guarantees that if you do this for 30 days you will turn strangers into: warm leads, new clients, and cold hard cash.

Handling Objections with Lori Raudnask

October 19, 2011 by Debra Kasowski Leave a Comment

Lori Raudnask share tips on how to handle sales objections with Debra Kasowski.

One of the most important s to do when handling a sales objection is to always acknowledge what your client is objecting to. For instance, if someone has an objection say: thank you for sharing, I appreciate that, so you think the price is too high. Always come into their world first and find out the reason why they are objecting.

Ask a question. For example -“So the price is too high. I appreciate that. What have you compared it to?” Really go into their world and ask a question, it will give you time to build more rapport with your  client and close that sale.

Negative Words Spiral Positive Words Empower

October 13, 2011 by Debra Kasowski Leave a Comment

Have you ever caught yourself in a spiral of negative conversation?

You need to ditch some of those words! Those words can be:

  • I can’t…
  • I don’t think I can…
  • I don’t have the time…
  • I don’t believe…

Those are words drag you down. You want to change them to empowering words:

  • I can
  • I will
  • I know

Every a statement like, ” I am afraid to do soemthing.” needs to be changed to get more power behind it. “I am confident I can take on whatever comes my way.” I am sure you can.

Drop words that do not serve you. Change the context. You will be surprised that you can change the energy around you to a more positive atmosphere by just watching the words that you use.

October 13, 2011 by Debra Kasowski Leave a Comment

Are you looking at your glass as half empty or half full? It is really important when you project yourself out in the world that you are coming from a place as have full and on the way to filling ‘er up! The reason being is -you can get caught up very easily in comparing yourself to others. Worrying about what others think. Guess what? People are so busy – they do not have time to look what is going on in your world. They have enough trouble looking after their own so do not worry about what other people think. Quit comparing yourself. You ARE MORE than enough. You have the skills and abilities to make things happen. All you have to do is discipline yourself and persevere. You can do it and your glass will be half full.

Quick Shifts to Self Empowerment

September 17, 2011 by Debra Kasowski Leave a Comment

Debra Kasowski interviews Sheila Unqiue about 3 Quick Shifts to Self Empowerment.

When it comes to self-empowerment:

  1. Acknowledge yourself as your own leading authority when it comes to your life and yourself.
  2. Awareness. Becoming aware of what’s going on in yoru world because there will be people who will show up with messages as to where you need to go for information.
  3. Asking. When you are in a place where you do not know something or you are looking for information. The very first type of self-empowering question you could ask is, “What?” What is this for me? Where can I get the information? and in that place of asking those kind of questions, you will get the answers that most apply to you.
