Lessons Learned from the Titanic Movie: Can Your Heart Go On?

Life is all about jumping in (pardon the pun) and experiencing each moment to the fullest. Tonight I had the opportunity to attend an event that one of The Millionaire Woman Club Members , Tamara Plant of Youarefierce.com organized. It was a Titanic High Tea event on the Santa Maria Ship in the West Edmonton Mall honouring the 100 year Anniversary of the Titanic followed by a 3D movie starring Leonardo de Caprio and Kate Winslet. It was so much fun! She paid attention to every detail – Iceberg Chocolates, Teacups with dessert, Titanic Trivia with a chance to win the “Heart of the Ocean” necklace, and handkerchief to commemorate the grand event. Brilliant concept from start to finish!

There are lessons and content to blog about and share with you.  I discovered to 3 hidden “gems” from the Titanic movie to share with you:

1. Make it Count. You already know that life is precious and time is a commodity so make every action, thought, and word count. Do not withhold your passion, your message, or the love and the value you bring to others. Challenges do arise. Choose a positive attitude and be grateful for each experience and interaction you have. You are making a difference.
2. Only You Can Save Yourself – No One Else Can Save You. If you want things to happen in your business or your life, you are the one who must take full responsibility to make it happen. You cannot wait for the knight on the white horse to come rescue you or wait to be discovered by a celebrity who will promote your product or service. You need to build your relationships, focus on what you want, and go after it.
3. Trust Yourself – You Already Know…  & You Will Fly!!! When you trust your instincts and follow your intuition, you can make decisions that feel right . You already know what you have to do. You already know what feels right in your heart and gut. Make time to listen and follow through on your ideas. Take action!
